About

Have you ever wondered if your creativity, like all things in nature, moves in a cycle?

In this one hour workshop, we will investigate “cyclical creativity,” using four of the moon’s phases (new moon, waxing, full moon, and waning) as a map to learn about our artistic movements. We will ask: what is the relationship between production and rest? Lightness and darkness? Inspiration and obstacle?

This class is open to writers, painters, poets, musicians, actors, and anyone else who is interested in exploring their relationship to creativity.

After the workshop, you will receive a series of writing prompts and exercises, as well as a list of resources to support your learning.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to The Loveland Foundation, a non-profit founded by writer and activist Rachel Cargle that provides therapy and mental health support to Black women and girls.

- After you complete your payment, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by an additional email that contains the zoom login information.

- Can't attend in real time? No problem! A recording will be sent to you after the class.

- Registration closes thirty minutes before the start of the event.

- Tickets are non-refundable.
